Back in late 2002 Pyra Labs, the company that owned and developed Blogger was acquired by Google. Now, since Blogger.com is hosted on the Google servers, their spiders tend to like any content generated there. As you all already know, our new blog on Blogger.com is now up and running.
Some of you may be asking yourself… “What do we blog about?” The answer to that is pretty simple: Anything and everything that is relevant to our services. Whether it is a coding technique, explaining a specific type of technology or just a simple tutorial all of these are good topics to blog about.
As with our social networking accounts, in addition to posting blogs we also need to interact with it. Commenting on our blog posts is imperative to being viewed as an active blog. Garnering as many “Authority” Ratings from Technorati should be one of our main goals with the blog.
We also need to pay attention to the Labels we place under each post. Labels (also called tags) are very, very useful tools because search engines love them. They add weight to certain words used on your website or blog. The more they are repeated, the more visible your site can be for those keyword searches
