Magic Logix will be attending the 20th Anniversary OSDBU Procurement Conference on Wednesday, April 21, 2010. The event will take place at the Dulles Expo Center North Hall in Chantilly, VA from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. On April 20th from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. there will be Vendor Exhibits in the Exhibit Hall. Magic Logix will have a booth displayed. You can find Magic Logix’s booth at booth number 1020.

The Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization Directors Interagency (OSDBU) council is an informal organization of Federal small business program officials that come together once a month to discuss information on issues and strategies, acquisition methods, small business programs initiatives and processes. The OSDBU conducts outreach events that allow respective agencies to increase their utilization of small businesses as prime and subcontractors to meet annual needs and requirements. The directors also work closely with the U.S. Small Business Administration. They work hand in hand in the implementation of Federal small business contracting programs.

The OSDBU holds the annual Directors’ Procurement Conference in order to provide networking and educational opportunities for small businesses. Small business owners, representatives and Federal small business officials as well as large corporations attend the annual conference.  The OSDBU was established when the Small Business Act was amended by Public Law 95-507. This ensured that each Federal agency and their prime vendors comply with federal laws in regards to regulations and policies to include small business concerns as sources for goods and services as prime contractors and subcontractors. Magic Logix looks forward to the OSDBU Annual conference and the opportunity that it will allow them to push their business closer in the direction of providing top quality services to government organizations.
