Magic Logix is rapidly growing and looking for Senior Flex Developer. This position will be a contractor position (3-6 months) with the potential to move to full time with benefits.

This role will include being the technical leader of numerous web-related applications. Working with other development Architects and Tech Leads, this engineer will identify technical solutions and designs to high level business requirements.

Primary Skills include but not limited toAdobe Flex, SDK, Flash Builder, ActionScript

Technical Qualifications

• In depth "hands on" experience and knowledge of the Adobe Flex 4.1 SDK
• Experience with Flex Builder IDE or plugin on Eclipse platform
• In depth knowledge of all aspects of Flash and Action Script including JavaScript, XHTML, HTML, CSS, JSON, and DOM
• Experience with interaction with SOAP/REST style web services
• Expertise in OOP and reusable component design
• Experience with 1 or more frameworks: Cairngorn, Parsley, PureMVC, RobotLegs
• Experience integrating Flash/Flex with PHP applications
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong critical thinking skills.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or relevant Technology field
• Deep understanding and effective use of RIA based Design Patterns and effective user interaction best practices
• Common Development tools (SVN, Perforce, JIRA, Confluence etc)
• Firebug and other browser debugging tools
• Support for multiple browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, etc.)
