February 2, 2012 – Dallas, TX – This year, Magic Logix will make its first appearance as an exhibitor at the 2012 Search Marketing Expo West (SMX West) in San Jose, CA. SMX West will be held from February 27^th to March 1^st, 2012 at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center. The SMX West 2012 program will feature sessions on search engine optimization (SEO), paid search advertising, and social media marketing for internet marketers of all skill levels. The program will also include sessions on analytics, enterprise SEM, local and mobile search.

Magic Logix is rapidly growing and looking for Senior Web Developer. The primary focus of the Web Developer is to develop, and implement software packages for web sites. The Web Developer troubleshoots debugs and implements software code. Consults with project team members to build and manage web sites. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. Reports to a project leader or manager. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required. This position requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

This role will include being the technical leader of numerous web-related applications. Working with other development Architects and Tech Leads, this engineer will identify technical solutions and designs to high level business requirements.

January 30, 2012 – Dallas, TX – Magic Logix recently launched a new website for FiREapps.com, which included a Drupal content management system (PHP and MySQL). Other features included an ROI calculator, stock ticker, online chat widget, and “Tell-a-Friend.” All components were constructed with SEO-friendly links and in compliance with W3C standards.

January 30, 2012 – Dallas, TX – Magic Logix recently launched www.DestinationBeer.com, a free resource provided by Andrews Distributing Company. The website launch included a custom redesign and HTML5 custom CMS development using Symphony CMS, along with ERP integration.

January 26, 2012 – Dallas, TX - The 2012 Internet Retailer Web Design and Usability Conference will be held from February 13^th to February 15^th at the Omni Orlando Resort.
